Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in my wristband fee?
The entire 5th Reunion is funded by our wristband fees. This includes (among other things) bands, DJs, meals throughout the weekend, beer tents, registration software, liability insurance, class mailings, t-shirts, block ice, liquor licenses, P-rade paraphernalia, signs & banners and golf cart rentals.
I’m only coming on Saturday. Why isn’t there a Saturday only rate?
Many of the reunions costs (e.g., insurance, costumes, equipment) are difficult to separate on a day to day basis. In addition, it is virtually impossible from an administrative perspective to charge different rates. To make a special exception for Saturday arrivals would raise the cost for those who arrive on Thursday and Friday.
Why can’t you provide housing for my registered guest?
Our goal to provide as many '04 classmates as possible with affordable, convenient housing for the 5th. Because we have a limited total number of beds, our housing policy is 1 bed per classmate during the first 5 days of registration. After that time (beginning at 12 noon EDT on February 2nd), remaining beds will be offered to those classmates who a) already completed the registration process using the website, b) registered a non-’04 guest, and c) indicated during the registration process that they would like to purchase one additional bed for their guest, if available.
For those classmates who registered a guest, indicated that they would like a second bed for their guest, and did not receive an additional bed, we will do our very best to provide you with a single room. So, for all those happy couples, consider this a chance to relive the joys of the extra-long twin bed on a Saturday night! For everyone else, we try our hardest to honor roommate requests so the late night dance parties and Wawa feasts may continue early into Sunday morning.
When will my credit card be charged for housing?
Classmates who would like to be considered for housing will have their credit card charged when they register. Classmates who indicate they would like to purchase a second bed for their guest will NOT initially be charged for the second bed. Purchase of a second bed will occur through a separate transaction.
Once housing fills up, is there still a chance that my credit card will be charged?
Yes. It is likely that we will receive additional beds from other Reunion classes over the next few months. Because of this, we will be creating a housing wait list. Once the housing wait list fills up, however, we will remove the housing portion of the registration module, which will prevent your credit card from being charged.
When will I find out if I received housing?
We will let you know whether you have received housing, or whether you have been placed on the wait list, by February 13th. Your specific room assignment will be available at check-in in May
What should I do if I'm placed on the housing wait list?
We encourage you to find other accommodations while you are on the wait list. If you would prefer to not be on the wait list, please let us know and you will be provided with a $120 refund. We will notify you if you have received a bed as soon as a one becomes available. All classmates who are still on the wait list on May 15th will be provided with a refund.
If I do not receive housing, what else can I do?
For hotel options, please click here for a list of local hotels that are serviced by the official reunions Shuttle.
When is check-out?
Sunday morning between 8am - 12noon. If you do not turn in your linens or room keys before 12noon, you will lose your $100 in deposits.
Are there any refunds?
Refunds are only available for those who are placed on the housing wait list and either a) would prefer to withdraw or b) never receive a bed. If you are not in that situation, there are NO REFUNDS.
